The ocean is Aethon's first frontier. We start by integrating existing vessels, sensors and vehicles and the institutions that already run them — cataloguing what is found, and publishing it openly. The greatest frontier left is not in space. It is right here.

What is down there.

Light stops at around 200 m. Everything below it has to be lit, reached and recorded by something we send.

How we explore

Map it, clean it, share it.

The deep ocean, first

We map the seafloor region by region, clean the trash as we go, and catalogue every species — then livestream the deep 24/7 so everyone can watch. 80% of the ocean is unexplored. We start there.

Beneath the seafloor

A later frontier: the crust below the ocean floor, where the instruments largely do not exist yet. Named on the roadmap, not active work.

Everything, in the open

What we find is published with its provenance — who observed it, when, and with what. No locked archives.

The partner model

Anyone — even a totally separate brand or explorer — who discovers something just sends us the proof + images. We post it on the map and credit them. Exploration, shared.
