Aethon Intelligence tries to show, for a place in the ocean, what is measured, what is only inferred, and which observation would add the most. Every part of that depends on people who know the ocean, its data or its instruments far better than a new company does.

How the work is set up

Review
The Aethon Intelligence methodology is written down and frozen until people outside the company have challenged it. Reviewers get the brief, the open questions and a direct line for disagreement.

Advise the first prototype
Prototype 0 covers one ocean region with a handful of public datasets. Advice on the region, the data and what a planner would actually need shapes it more than anything built internally.

Field work, later
When a question needs new observations, Aethon works through the institutions and operators who already run the vessels and vehicles. Nothing is planned in the water yet.
Commissioned work is scoped and paid. Contributions are credited by name. There are no open roles yet, and none will be listed until they exist.
