We don't care about your background — we care that you take action. The community lives on Discord; the missions live here. It takes everyone, working together as a world.
Engineers & designers especially: Aethon hosts real build + design work as missions. Pick one up and build with us, or post your own — hosts set the pay, and anyone can sign up.
What missions serve
Alongside exploring the planet, missions give back to people — feeding the hungry, sheltering the unhoused, cleaning what's broken, standing against violence, and making peace along the way. Exploration and kindness aren't two missions; they're one.

Skilled missions pay real bounties (cash / rev-share) on top of Aethon XP. Give-back missions are volunteer — they earn XP + recognition, and they matter just as much. Filter by category above; you can switch anytime. Down the line, Aethon will also lead its own events + drives — cleanups, animal-care days, and more — for anyone to join.
How pay works: for now, the verified creator who posts a paid mission sets the pay and handles it directly with whoever completes it — Aethon connects you, verifies the work, and tracks XP, but doesn't touch the money. As we grow, we'll add built-in, escrow-style payouts right here (pay released when a mission is verified done) so it's all in one place.

Do missions — build, design, teach, explore, or give back. Every contribution earns XP and credit. No gatekeeping; switch what you work on anytime.

Unlock perks + paid bounties
As you climb, you unlock rewards and Card perks — and skilled missions pay real cash / rev-share bounties on top of XP. We pay for real work.
Step 3 · Prove it
Earn real ownership
Sustained, significant contributors share in what Aethon becomes — real equity from a set-aside pool, granted legally and vesting over time. Earned through contribution, never bought, never by DM.
XP and levels are recognition — not equity. They decide who becomes eligible; the ownership itself is granted on paper, lawyered, and vesting. Hard to earn, fair for everyone, the same path for all.
And nothing's locked to one person forever — you can pass a role on to anyone, anytime. Lead the farm for three years, then hand it down. People switch passions; the work keeps going.

Only verified creators can post + lead missions — that keeps the board trustworthy. There are two ways to earn the tag: submit a short application form, or reach a certain XP level by contributing. Bring your own mission, or your brand in as a partner. Once verified, here's what you get:
