The XP system

Every good thing you do, counted.

XP turns real effort into levels, rewards, and a track record that's yours — across every Aethon engine. Earned, never bought. Never pay-to-win.

Level up

Every good thing you do, counted.

Log a trade, finish a mission, learn a lesson, build a brand, discover a place — real effort becomes XP. Earned, never bought.

The rulebook

The scoring table.

Like a fantasy-sports scoring sheet — what each action is worth, and the caps that keep it fair. Pick a part of Aethon, or see it all at once. Values are the V1 starting points, tuned openly.

Everything here is 1:1 Aethon XP — it all happens on the main Aethon site. Discovery + activities count too: anything you do for the world is part of Aethon. (Separate apps like Trading OS are shown above, where they convert at a lower rate.)

Discovery = exploring real places or in-game objectives. Activities = logging real things you do — travel, fitness, an outing. Both verified, both capped (no farming).

How engines sync

The main site earns 1:1. Separate apps level their own world 1:1 but convert to your universal score at a lower rate — so no single app can flood it.

How missions are weighted

Bigger, rarer, more valuable work earns more.

Length

A 2-hour task earns less than a multi-week build. Roles + recurring missions pay steadily over time.

Rarity + difficulty

Harder, rarer, credentialed work (engineering, science, leading) earns proportionally more.

Value to the world

Real impact — people helped, places cleaned, things shipped — weighs heaviest of all.

Every mission + role tracks XP, fairly weighted — and you filter the board by length, pay, and category to find your fit.

Levels

Climb the ladder.

100 levels — every one its own step (you climb 1, 2, 3… not in jumps). Thresholds are locked + published; below are the milestones that unlock something new.

Beyond Level 100

Hall of Fame isn't the end. Past 100 you keep earning prestige bonuses — extra reward points, seasonal perks, and a permanent place in Aethon's story. The climb never really stops.

The fairness rules

Every XP source passes four tests.

This is the lock. Before any action awards XP, it has to pass all four — or it doesn't ship. It's how we keep the whole game fair forever.

Test 1

Earned, not bought

You can never pay for XP. Pro unlocks tools, never XP rates or levels.

Test 2

Not farmable

Daily/weekly caps + diminishing returns stop grinding from beating real contribution.

Test 3

Not luck-based

XP rewards effort + skill + showing up — never RNG, never gambling.

Test 4

Proportional

Bigger, harder, rarer contributions earn proportionally more. Small things still count.

The two currencies

XP is your reputation. Coins are your rewards.

⭐ XP

Your level + track record. Earned by doing, never spent, never sold, never bought. XP is who you've been — it can't be traded away.

🪙 Aethon Coins

Earned through the battle pass, missions, and streaks — never purchasable, by anyone, ever. Spend them on cosmetics, or redeem them for real rewards: free months, merch, credits — and down the line, cash redemption.

The line that keeps it fair: coins never buy power — no XP, no abilities, no leaderboard edge. A brand-new player and a coin-rich veteran compete as equals. And money for work (missions, bounties) is always paid directly in dollars — never routed through coins.

What XP gets you.

Not just badges — real rewards that keep getting bigger. Recognition and perks early, then actual money, and — over time — a real, if small, piece of what we're building. The whole point is that showing up for the world pays you back.

  1. 1

    Recognition

Badges, ribbons, your level + a public profile — you get seen + credited.

  2. 2

    Reward points + perks

Free months of Pro, cosmetics, upgrade discounts, Aethon Card perks.

  3. 3

    Real money

Paid mission bounties + payouts. Do real work, get paid — in cash, not just points.

  4. 4

    A real stake

Over time, proven contributors earn small, real equity in Aethon — lawyered + vested. Not just the top few: the goal is that many people own a piece.

  5. 5

    Hall-of-Fame bonuses

Reach the top and you keep earning — prestige bonuses, bigger rewards, a permanent place in the story.

How ownership works

XP + levels are recognition — they show who's put in the real work and who qualifies. The equity itself is always granted legally, with vesting, never bought and never by DM. Small stakes, earned over time by many people — bigger for those who build the most, bonuses at the very top. Honest about the order: recognition + rewards + money now, real ownership as the mission grows.

Your XP + level live on your profile (and subtly on your avatar), and on the leaderboard if you opt in — by username, never your real name.
